Position Summary
This is a full-time position with day-to-day duties that include providing Industrial Hygiene project management in an Occupational Health and Safety setting. Candidates must live near Folsom, CA. An active Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC) certification and CDPH Lead Assessor/Inspector certification are required to be considered for this position. All applicants will be verified for active certifications before progressing to the next step of the interview process. Your primary duties include the management of Industrial Hygienist Projects and Technicians. The OH&S Project Manager works closely with the Director of IH and Safety Consulting, Business Development, and Finance to ensure efficient and sustainable growth in the IH Department. Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities
- Consult with clients, preparing, soliciting, and marketing proposals for billable work.
- Initiates and creates programs for clients to recognize, eliminate, and control occupational health hazards and diseases.
- Conducts evaluations of chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
- Collect samples of dust, gases, vapors, and other potentially toxic materials for analysis.
- Investigates adequacy of ventilation, exhaust equipment, lighting, and other conditions that may affect employee health, comfort, or efficiency.
- Creates and presents reports regarding the work environment.
- Recommends precautions and corrective actions that should be taken in response to identified hazards.
- Assists in the development of operating procedures and service lines.
- Contributes to industry presentations and publications.
- Develop and mentor staff.
Required Certifications (MUST BE ACTIVE)
- Certified Asbestos Consultant (CAC)
- CDPH Lead Inspector/Assessor (I/A)
- Project Management Professional (PMP)

Experience
- 5or more years of professional experience in consulting services.
- 1 or more years of prior supervisory experience.
- Previous consulting or business development experience, with demonstrated success in growing client accounts.
Education
- A Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety is required.
- Advanced degrees and/or certifications (CDPH I/A, CAC and PMP) are required.
- Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) is preferred!
Wage: Salary Range: $100,000 to $128,000 (Salary for CIH Certified candidates goes up to $155,000)
Travel: Up to 70% of travel
